SFC Jordan Hamilton

Military Science Instructor

Sergeant First Class (SFC) is from Fremont, Ohio. He entered the Army in 2007 and attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training as an 19D (Cavalry Scout) at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

His military assignments include serving with the 6th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas; 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado; 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colorado; Drill Sergeant, 1st Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. His deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and Operation Spartan Shield.

SFC Hamilton’s Military education includes Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Drill Sergeant Academy, Modern Army Combatives Program I & II, Cold Weather Leaders Course, Field Sanitation Team Course, CBRNE Defense Course, Small Land Warfare UAVs (Raven) Course, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) foundation Course, Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) Course and Common Faculty Development-Instructor (CFD-IC) Course.

SFC Hamilton’s Awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal with six oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with five oak leaf clusters and the Army Good Conduct Medal with five oak leaf clusters. He also holds the Driver/Mechanic Badge, Drill Sergeant badge and the Expert Marksmanship Badge.
