Military Science Instructor

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Amran S. Moore is from Waukena, California. He entered the Army in 2002 and attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training as an 11C (Indirect Fire Infantryman) at Fort Benning, Georgia.

His military assignments include serving with 1st Battalion, 34th Armored Regiment, Fort Riley, Kansas; 2nd Battalion, 69th Armored Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia; 2nd Battalion, 34th Armored Regiment, Fort Riley, Kansas; Drill Sergeant, 2nd Battalion, 58th Infantry Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia; 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Operations Group Scorpion Team National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, California. His deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

SFC Moore’s Military education includes the Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Commanders/First Sergeants Course, Infantry Mortar Leaders Course, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, SHARP Foundation Course, and the Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course.

SFC Moore’s Awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters, and the Army Achievement Medal with four oak leaf clusters. He also hold the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, and Drill Sergeant Badge.
