Jake Arnold
Military Science Instructor
Mr. Arnold is from Sheridan, WY. He enlisted into the Wyoming Army National Guard in July of 1999 as a Field Artillery Surveyor. Upon Completion of his Initial Entry Training and Advanced Individual Training he was assigned to the 2nd Battalion 300th Field Artillery. In 2004-2005 he deployed as an In Lieu of Military Police Team Leader with the 2-300 FA BN to Iraq. Upon return from his deployment to Iraq, Mr. Arnold enrolled in the at the University of Wyoming and ROTC program where he graduated with a Bachelors in Secondary Education Social Studies and commissioned in 2010. Mr. Arnold served in various roles and leadership positions as an M-Day Soldier and Active Guard Reserve member as well as deploying to Afghanistan in 2015-2016. During his time as an officer, Mr. Arnold held three commands and culminated his career as a Major in his final position as the Executive Officer for the 213th Regimental Training Institute in Camp Guernsey, WY. In June of 2025, Mr. Arnold retired from the Wyoming Army National Guard as a Major, and now resides in Timnath, CO with his wife and four children.
He has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters, The Army Commendation Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters, and the Army Achievement Medal.
